This Privacy Policy explains how Nerdy Nuggets LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use RizzUp at rizzup.io and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

RizzUp is operated by Nerdy Nuggets LLC, a small independent company. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at privacy@rizzup.io.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: your email address, and a display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name and email) to create your account.
• Content you create: the asks you build — including the recipient's name, your headline and message, any proposed date, time, or place, and theme choices — and the responses to your asks (the answer, any note, and, if a recipient proposes a new time, the email or phone number they choose to share so you can confirm).
• Payment information: when you subscribe or make a purchase, payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card number. We store a customer identifier, your plan or tier, invite credits, and purchased add-ons.
• Technical information: basic server logs, IP address, and device or browser details, collected automatically by our hosting provider to operate and secure the Service.
• Cookies: we use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to run the Service. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use your information

• To provide the Service — create and deliver your asks, show responses, and manage your account.
• To process payments, subscriptions, credits, and add-ons.
• To keep the Service safe — prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms.
• To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run RizzUp, and only as needed:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting (stores your account and content).
• Stripe and PayPal — payment processing.
• Google — sign-in, if you choose to use it.
• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and security.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer.

When you send an ask

An ask is delivered through a private link. Anyone who has that link can view the content you put in it, including the recipient's name and your message. Please share ask links only with the person you intend to reach, and only include information you are comfortable sharing.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may ask us to delete your account and associated content at any time, subject to any records we must keep to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@rizzup.io and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, row-level access controls on our database, and server-side isolation of sensitive operations. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to safeguard your information.

Age requirement

RizzUp is intended only for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal information, contact privacy@rizzup.io and we will delete it.

International users

RizzUp is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed and stored in the United States or wherever our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to countries with different data-protection laws than your own.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
